Mr. Adrian Paul P. Liangco, RPm

Mr. Adrian Paul Liangco is a co-founder of LifeRisks (LR). He is the Head of Organization and currently the President of LR. He is a registered Psychometrician and currently taking up his law studies at Angeles University Foundation, Philippines.

He served as a writer in ‘Ing Mabalaqueño’, the official newsletter of the local government of Mabalacat City, Philippines. He was an instructor in Logic and General Psychology at Republic Central Colleges, Philippines, and Introduction to Psychology at Angeles University Foundation, in 2016.

Mr. Liangco graduated Cum Laude from Angeles University Foundation in 2015, with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Psychology. In 2015, he received verified certificates from the University of California, San Diego on Coursera and from The Museum of Modern Art, New York City on Coursera for successfully completing online academic courses, in learning and arts, respectively.

He was a finalist in the search for the ‘Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines – Region III’ in 2015, and a recipient of the ‘AUF-Outstanding Student for Research in the same year.

He is also the managing-author of the blog “Unwanted Opinion”, where he aspires to raise social consciousness in the free market of ideas.

LifeRisks Founder Paul

Mr. Adrian Paul P. Liangco, RPm

Mr. Adrian Paul P. Liangco, commonly known as Paul, is the president and co-founder of LifeRisks. He is a registered psychometrician and a 4th-year law student. He heads the discussion on substance use.

Paul graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2015. In 2019, he received a verified certificate from John Hopkins University, Maryland, USA on Coursera, for completing a course on Psychological First Aid. In the same year, he also received a verified certificate from the Emory University, Georgia, USA on Coursera, for completing an 8-week academic course on substance use.

He was a finalist to the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines - Region III, and was awarded The Outstanding Student for Research in 2015.

Paul started his professional career as an instructor in Psychology in 2016. Currently, he works as a legal researcher in a law office in Pampanga. In his spare time, Paul likes to paint and write his opinions. He hopes to raise the social consciousness of the people by sharing his works in the free market of ideas.

Paul aspires to become a great lawyer in the future.

LifeRisks Founder Norman

Norman B. Mendoza, MCP, RPm

Mr. Norman B. Mendoza is the adviser and co-founder of LifeRisks—a non-profit youth organization focused on mental health and suicide. He heads the discussion on suicide prevention and social support. He is a Registered Psychometrician with a master’s degree in Counseling and Psychotherapy. In 2019, he worked as a Faculty member of the Psychology Department of De La Salle University, Manila, Philippines. Currently he is completing his PhD studies at the Education University of Hong Kong.

 

Norman has a total of five years of teaching and research experience in the academe. He has published Scopus-indexed international publications on mental health. He is actively engaged in national conventions in the Philippines, as well as international conferences in Hong Kong, Macau, and Yokohama, Japan, and most recently in Taiwan. This April 2020 he will present his paper on student engagement at a roundtable at the Annual meeting of the American Educational Research Association at San Francisco, USA. In July, he will present his study on achievement goals at the International Conference of Psychology in Prague, Czech Republic.

 

Norman is the eldest brother to Matthew and Marc Efraim, and a son to Ramon and Marife. He likes to discuss sports, particularly NBA and CrossFit, and mental health.
